In the shell command, when manipulating some files or folders generated automatically by microscopy machines, the folders or files' name have space in it. for example "Alex488 A01', so in the shell, we can not access into the folder 'Alex488 A01' by cd ~/Alex488 A01, because of the space means something else in the shell but not recognized as the name of the folder. How could I rename this kind of folder name in a bulk way, cause there are kinda like millions of folders like this.. Anyone has ideas?

Spaces in paths

Try just putting double quotes around the full path.
mv "old name" new_name
